Northants Baseball Club is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for new players of all ages as it embarks on an initiative to launch a second team focused on player development. This new team aims to welcome individuals who are new to the sport or have little to no experience, offering a supportive environment to learn and grow in baseball.
The club is dedicated to fostering talent and inclusivity within the local community, and the introduction of this development team, in addition to its league-winning existing team, is a testament to that commitment.
Whether you’re a complete novice or have some familiarity with the game, Northants Baseball Club invites you to come along, meet the team, and participate in training sessions designed to enhance your skills in a friendly atmosphere.
In addition to the adult development team, Northants Baseball Club is also keen to expand its youth program, specifically targeting children under the age of 12. The club recognises the importance of nurturing young talent and is eager to grow its under-12 team. This initiative will provide children with the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of baseball while making new friends and enjoying the benefits of teamwork and physical activity.
“We are excited about the potential growth of our club and the chance to introduce baseball to more people in our community,” said Jack Betts, Adult Team Manager. “We believe that by creating a development team and expanding our youth program, we can cultivate a love for the game among new players, ensuring its future in Northants”
Interested players, both young and young-at-heart, are encouraged to reach out to Northants Baseball Club HERE or click HERE for more information on how to join.
The club will be hosting open training sessions Between January and March Indoors at Wooton Park School, where prospective players can experience the sport firsthand and meet the coaching staff.
